As a result many of the earlier model Canon – Minolta now Konica Minolta & Kodak Digital & other suppliers Microfilm Scanners & Scanner Printers which utilised SCSI communication devices will no longer work.

This advice was provided on the Microsoft QUESTION & ANSWERS Website – July 9 2010 regarding SCSI connections .

You may get your SCSI Device to work on Windows 7 in Windows XP mode but SCSI, while still having some uses, is pretty much long dead now, just like Floppy Disk Drives.

If the SCSI card maker did not make Win 7 drivers and provide them to Microsoft then Windows 7 would not have them available.

The Microsoft Windows 7 is an entirely different animal inside than Windows XP was.
